| Notice to Tobin Trail Hikers:
It has been extremely dry this season and fire danger is extremely high. Do not make any fire while you are on Tobin Trail until we have had a good, long steady rain. It's a whole different trail when it's been wet but crossing the small creeks, five of them when the arroyos are running, are more dangerous.
(We know you will be very careful with fires
and will avoid them during fire season !!)
Please send us your pictures as this trail renovation project progresses. We hope to soon have it blazed to Bucks Creek and perhaps you will be part of the group that re-opens it to Bucks Lake.
We'd really like to see pictures of you and your group camping
